The JCEEI were delighted to welcome Professor Tarje Nissen-Meyer to the Met Office on Monday 9th December for the 2024 Christmas Lecture. Tarje’s talk ‘Multiscale geophysics: Probing planetary processes from accelerated large-scale simulation to landscape-scale ecosystems and earthworm-scale soils’ covered everything Environmental Intelligence  and was very well recieved by members of the Met Office and JCEEI community- we’re already planning next year’s event!
